We review guest submissions on a case-by-case basis. We require genuine expertise — academic qualification, professional practice, or documented long-term horticultural experience. Submissions must be original, factually accurate, and consistent with our editorial depth standards. Send a 200-word proposal and brief bio to editorial@verduragardens.com before submitting a full piece.
We take factual accuracy with complete seriousness. Please use the contact form above, selecting "Article Correction or Feedback" as the subject. Include the article title, the specific passage in question, and your correction with any supporting references. Our editorial team will investigate and issue a correction note if warranted. We credit all corrections to the reader who identified them.
We do not publish sponsored content, native advertising, or affiliate-driven product recommendations. Our editorial independence is fundamental to the trust our readers place in our content. Verdura Culinary Gardens is supported by our Garden Society membership. All product references in our guides represent genuine editorial recommendations made without commercial consideration.

Every guide begins with a literature review drawing on peer-reviewed horticultural and botanical science, primary sources including RHS, USDA Extension publications, and university research programs. Practical recommendations are field-tested by our cultivation team before publication. Each guide is reviewed by at least one qualified specialist (botanist, horticulturalist, or soil scientist) before publication. We cite sources and acknowledge the inherent variability of garden results in every guide.
